My new favorite word.
My word of 2026 is “resourced.”*
Typically, I forget my word of the year after about 8 weeks but this one seems to be sticking. Probably because it is the power ballad version of the word “self care” and makes me want to put my hands up and shout AMEN.
I use the word “resourced” as an adjective. As in … someone who is operating at full wattage not because she is pushing herself past her limits, but because she has pulled in the support she needs to shine at full wattage.
As I look at a very intense schedule on this gorgeous Monday, I ask myself:
